Me instalé en Mallorca por casualidad. De recién casados, con Francesco Venturi, mi marido y vinimos a visitar a unos amigos y surgió la idea de publicar un libro sobre las casas señoriales de la isla. Un día salimos a visitar propiedades y encontramos este paraíso. Fue cuestión de tiempo que nos mudáramos. 

Nosotros vivimos en Londres así que venir hasta Esporles es sinónimo de tranquilidad. Aquí es donde más feliz me siento. El clima, el jardín, la naturaleza... Siento tanta serenidad y paz cuando estoy aquí que sí es difícil escapar, pero como tenemos cosas apetecibles fuera de casa también disfrutamos de la isla y de sus amigos. Me encantan sus tiendas, el shoping, el lujo y los mercadillos. Eso es Mallorca, una mezcla constante. 

 

CAPRICHO 

Dirigir un documental sobre arte en Mallorca, llevo dos años en ello y estoy segura que saldrá adelante. 

                                

 

“I moved to Majorca by chance. Soon after we married, my husband, Francesco Venturi, and I visited some friends on the island and the idea came up of publishing a book on the island’s stately homes. One day we were visiting a number of properties and came across this paradisiacal spot. It was just a matter of time before we decided to move here. 

We live in London, so for us, coming to Esporles is a chance to enjoy absolute peace and quiet. It’s where I am happiest. The climate, the garden, nature...I feel such a sense of serenity and peace when I’m here that it’s hard to tear myself away, but as there are so many fabulous things to see and do we also love going out and enjoying the island and the company of friends. I love the stores, shopping at the luxury boutiques as well as the markets. That’s what Majorca is all about; a constant mix. “ 

 

CAPRICE 

Directing a documentary about art on Majorca; I’ve been working on it for the last two years and I’m sure the project will go ahead. 

                                

 

“Ich habe mich ganz zufällig auf Mallorca niedergelassen. Als Francesco Venturi und ich frisch verheiratet waren, besuchten wir Freunde und kamen auf die Idee, ein Buch über Herrenhäuser auf der Insel herauszugeben. Eines Tages sahen wir uns verschiedene Immobilien an und fanden dieses Paradies. Es war nur noch eine Frage der Zeit, dass wir hierher zogen. 

Wir leben in London, d. h., nach Esporles zu kommen, war gleichbedeutend mit Ruhe. Hier fühle ich mich am glücklichsten. Das Klima, der Garten, die Natur... Ich fühle so viel Ruhe und Frieden, wenn ich hier bin, sodass ich gar nicht wieder fort möchte, aber da es hier auch außer Haus viele angenehme Dinge gibt, genießen wir auch die Insel und die, die sie gerne mögen. Ich liebe die Geschäfte, das Shopping, den Luxus und die Straßenmärkte. Das ist Mallorca, eine konstante Mischung.“ 

 

KAPRICE 

Ich bin seit zwei Jahren dabei, einen Dokumentarfilm über die Kunst auf Mallorca zu drehen und er wird sicher gut werden. 

                                

 

“Я поселилась на Майорке случайно. Только что поженившись, мы с мужем, Франческо Вентури, были здесь в гостях у друзей, и тогда у нас возникла идея опубликовать книгу о старинных домах острова. В один из дней мы отправились все это смотреть и открыли для себя настоящий рай на земле . Поэтому приобретение жилья на Майорке было только вопросом времени. 

Мы живем в Лондоне, поэтому каждый раз в Эспорлесе стараемся прежде всего спокойно отдохнуть. Здесь я чувствую себя по-настоящему счастливой. Прекрасный климат, сад, природа... Я ощущаю такое спокойствие и умиротворенность, что мне бывает трудно отсюда куда-то еще выбраться, хотя, конечно, на острове есть много всего привлекательного, и мы также наслаждаемся общением с друзьями. Я в восторге от здешних магазинов , шоппинга, роскоши и блошиных рынков. Это Майорка, постоянное смешение противоположностей.“ 

 

КАПРИЗ 

Снять документальный фильм об искусстве на Майорке. Я занимаюсь этим уже два года и уверена, что все получится.
